Eye Contact: Symptoms may include redness, itching, or pain.
Skin Contact: Symptoms may include redness and itching.
Inhalation: Symptoms may include coughing and shortness of breath. Exposure to high vapour concentration can cause dizziness, nausea and central nervous system depression.
Ingestion: Symptoms such as gastric pain, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea may occur. If large amounts are ingested, symptoms may include pain, headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness and other central nervous system effects. -
Chronic health effects
From SDS:
Prolonged inhalation may cause adverse lung effects with symptoms including coughing and shortness of breath. -
Carcinogenicity
This product contains Carbon black and Vinyl acetate. Carbon black and Vinyl acetate are each classified as possibly carcinogenic to humans by IARC (Group 2B) based on rat inhalation studies. ACGIH has classified Carbon black as not classifiable as a human carcinogen (Group A4). ACGIH has classified Vinyl acetate as a proven animal carcinogen (Group A3). NTP and OSHA have not classified Carbon black or Vinyl acetate in terms of carcinogenicity. During normal usage of the product as recommended, airborne dusts will not be present. No other components are listed as carcinogens by ACGIH, IARC, OSHA or NTP.

Handling information
Observe good hygiene standards. Use only with adequate ventilation. Do not eat, drink or smoke in the work area. Wash thoroughly after handling. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Avoid repeated or prolonged skin contact. Avoid breathing vapors or mists of this product. Sanding and grinding dusts may be harmful if inhaled. When removing this product from existing flooring (i.e. during a renovation), wear safety goggles and respiratory protection from dust due to blasting, chipping, or mechanically pulverizing. Wear protective clothing to prevent skin contact. Promptly remove any clothing that becomes contaminated. Clean contaminated clothing before reuse. Keep container tightly closed. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Store away from heat and open flame. Avoid storing in direct sunlight. Store in original container. Keep tightly closed when not in use. Do not reuse empty container without commercial cleaning or reconditioning.

You must test your waste using methods described in 40 CFR Part 261 to determine if it meets applicable definitions of hazardous wastes. Dispose in accordance with all applicable federal, state, provincial and local regulations. Contact your local, state, provincial or federal environmental agency for specific rules.

First Aid
Eye Contact: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Get medical advice/attention.
Skin Contact: Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Wash with plenty of soap and water. If irritations or symptoms develop, seek medical attention/advice.
Inhalation: If inhaled, remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.
